Professional humidity control unit for terrarium; Day / Night humidity periods for humidifier / dehumidifier + additional timer.
Humidity controlling unit for terrariums, vivariums, small greenhouses where humidity level must be kept constant or within set limits and different daytime and night-time humidity are required. This terrarium hygrostat / humidistat is suitable for controlling both HUMIDIFICATION and DE-HUMIDIFICATION appliances. The unit also contains a timer controlled socket for lighting, heating etc. periodically used devices.
Humidity controlling range is 0,0 – 99,9% RH (hygrostat can control humidity between these values). Adjustable humidity control difference is 0,0 - 10,0% (hygrostat can be set to start humidifying or dehumidifying 0,0 – 10,0% below / above the target humidity; for example if the target humidity is 70,0%, the unit can be set to start humidification when humidity has dropped up to 10,0% below 70,0%, for example at 65,5% RH). The unit is equipped with an Over Humidity Alarm, which will alarm if the actual humidity level is 0,0 - 20,0% below set value (in humidification mode) or above set value (in de-humidification mode).
This humidistat / hygrostat can be programmed to maintain different humidity levels for daytime and night-time.
The left socket is for humidity controlling with different day / night humidity levels. Can be used with HUMIDIFICATION or DE-HUMIDIFICATION equipment.
The right socket is a timer with real-time clock, for controlling lights, heating etc. The timer enables two “ON” periods per 24 hour period, for example lights can be programmed to be switched on between 8.00-12.00 and 14.38-18.50.
The unit has microprocessor control with LCD screen, external humidity sensor, and it can operate humidification / de-humidification devices up to 1200W / 10A . The unit is suitable for universal European standard plug types F, C and E.
