Artificial coral for aquariums. Artificial corals are suitable for aquariums in which live corals cannot be kept due to coral eating fish or other animals or if water parameters and light intensity are not optimized for keeping live corals. Fish only marine aquarium is much easier to maintain than reef aquarium and artificial corals are an excellent way to decorate the aquarium to look like a coral reef instead of using plain rocks for decoration.

Artificial corals will be slowly covered in algae when aquarium has adequate light level for diurnal marine fish. Coral insert is easily cleaned by removing it from the aquarium and soaking it in a bucket filled with mixture of water and household bleach (chlorine). Chlorine will kill the algae and clean the coral surface without brushing, after which the coral insert is rinsed or soaked in clean tap water before returning it into the aquarium.

This coral is made of resin material and it is not flexible. It is suitable for both marine and fresh water aquariums.
