Dosing pump 1-channel (Master)
[203.8201]

A dosing pump is used to add small amounts of liquid on a regular basis in order to maintain the concentration of that liquid in water as stable as possible. In aquariums dosing pumps are used to add fast consumed constituents (calcium and magnesium) to marine aquariums and fertilizers to fresh water planted aquariums.

Dosing pumps have been developed to laboratory use and they are capable of pumping very small quantities of liquid (for example 1ml) between small intervals (for example once an hour). Liquid that is dosed is usually highly concentrated, due to which it is common that different substances cannot be mixed together and each of them requires its own container and pump. For example, magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate that are both used in reef aquariums for magnesium supplement, cannot be mixed together. Because of this, dosing pumps are available with multiple pump heads and a programmable master pump can also control additional pump units (slave pumps) that are not programmable.

This is a programmable master doser. Pump capacity is 1ml – 99ml per cycle and interval is 1 h – 7 days.
