Lighting Meter 0-50 000 Lux
[104.1201]

Light meter / Lux meter can be used to measure the amount of light when determining whether used illumination is powerful enough for the room or other illumination target. Light meter is also useful in monitoring illumination power reduction in light systems that need replacement bulbs / tubes in order to maintain sufficient illumination level.

LX-1010B light meter has three measurement ranges (0-1999 Lux, 2000-19 999 Lux and 20 000 - 50 000 Lux) enabling easy measurements in different situations. Separate light sensor allows the sensor to be kept in an optimal angle even in special conditions. The meter uses a standard 9V battery as a power source.

NOTE! Light meter is most sensitive to 540-560nm light which is seen as the brightest by human eyes and is the general color of natural daylight. If an artificial light source produces light which differs remarkably from this wavelength, the light meter can be only used for relative measurements in comparison of different lamps of the same type, or for monitoring the light power reduction. For this reason, a lux meter cannot be used to measure the actual illumination power of popular red-blue style LED grow lights.

This light meter is very suitable for measuring aquarium, terrarium or greenhouse illumination and condition of fluorescent tubes, metal halide bulbs, HPS bulbs etc. It is also suitable for photographers and any other illumination measurements.
